PSI is not responsible for candidates who mistakenly arrive at a test center for which they have not been scheduled and reserves the right to deny admission if a candidate arrives late for their exam. An applicant for a license as a residential appliance installer must pass a residential appliance installer examination administered under this chapter. There may be more than one PSI test center in the city you have elected to test in. Please check your confirmation and verify which test center you have been scheduled for.Please contact TDLR at in order to apply and obtain your exam pre-approval.
